/friend list shows your friends. /feed friends shows their recent viewing activity. Use /friend remove or /friend block to end access.
Use /letterboxd link with your username, then /letterboxd sync for recent public RSS entries. RSS does not include your full history.
For full history, upload your own Letterboxd export ZIP or CSV with /letterboxd import. Read the summary for unmatched titles. Imports make your bot profile private by default.
Request your data export in your Letterboxd account settings, then upload the ZIP with /letterboxd import. You can also attach the supported diary, ratings, reviews, watched and watchlist CSV files.
For the website flow, open moviebot.lol/import/. Preview and convert your ZIP locally, or connect using /settings website and confirm an account import. You can check its progress on the page.
Read the import summary for unmatched or skipped entries. Imported items are marked as imported and repeat imports are deduplicated. Keep the original export as a backup.
The default keep_private option makes your bot profile private for the import. Check /settings privacy afterward before sharing it.
RSS sync only covers the recent entries present in the public feed. It is not a full-history backup. Movie Bot uses public RSS and your export, not an official Letterboxd API connection, and is not affiliated with Letterboxd.
