Get Started with Movie Bot
Start here. Three steps to your first viewing.
1. Open the tutorial
Use Add to Discord on the homepage to install Movie Bot in a server you manage. Then run /help in that server.
Your first command opens a private tutorial. Do the tasks on each page, click Next, then Finish. Your progress is saved. Use /tutorial to return at any time.
/tutorial2. Rate a movie
Choose the title from autocomplete. Give it 0.5 to 5 stars, in steps of 0.5. A rating is your opinion; logging records when you watched it.
Check the release year before choosing a title. Updating a rating changes your opinion record; it does not add another viewing to your diary.
/movie rate title:Shrek rating:4.53. Log the viewing
Leave the date blank for today. Dates use UTC until you change your timezone in Settings. Your profile and stats update automatically.
